A simple word search with a FARM theme for EYFS and KS1 children. There are 8 words to find which correspond to the colour pictures around the word search. There is an answer sheet and a blank template for you to fill in other words of your own related to the farm or animals. A 4 page resource for young children linked to colour, fish and also animals and their habitats, under and over, below and above, oceans and seas. The first two pages show a fishing scene. There are colour dots on the fish and in the sea and the sky. The idea is that children use the coloured dots to guide their colouring in work. Page 3 and 4 show the fishing boats. Children draw their own underwater scene adding fish, seaweed, bubbles and whatever else they fancy.

Share this little rhyme with your children. They can then write or trace the words to the rhyme. Next there is a colour and black and white picture showing tea and biscuits. Children can share their favourite drinks and biscuits, as well as talk about shapes. Children can colour the black and white sheet to make it the same as the colour version, or use their own colours. Page 3 shows a template in colour and black and white. You could use these in a variety of ways such as drawing, writing, adding a recipe for making biscuits or tea.
